1. ‘Everyone loves him’
Height: 15.3hh
Gender: gelding
Age: nine
Selling points: “Everyone loves ‘Chunks’! He is a super Irish Sports Horse gelding, who would suit a rider looking for proper hunting horse. He is excellent to hack in company or alone, stands at the meet and is not fizzy. He is excellent in crowds, all traffic, farm machinery and other farm animals and is good with gates etc. He has basic flat work established and is willing to learn and jumps with ease. He is snaffle mouthed, easy to load and travels well. He is great on the ground, easy to clip, groom, plait, wash, and is great with the farrier and dentist. He is now in work for the forthcoming season — he is the type you can just pull out of the field and jump on without any issues. He is now ready to form a new relationship in a hunting home. We are selling Chunks as a hunter but we believe he would make a good all-rounder and family horse too.”

She is calm and polite across country and has jumped steps, banks, drops, water and ditches. She has exercised with hounds and behaved impeccably. She hacks alone or in company, in front or behind, is great in traffic, to load, catch, shoe etc. A special home required for this lovely natured mare.”

3. ‘Stunning’
Height: 17hh
Gender: gelding
Age: nine
Selling points: “‘Joey’ turns heads but is sensible safe and has beautiful manners on and off the hunting field. He stands like a rock at the meet and will go anywhere in the field. He will happily do gates or lead a pony at the back one day and be in the thick of it next time out — he loves the job and loves hounds. Despite his size, he is careful and clever over the trappiest of country, and is balanced and light in the hand, but is scopey, bold and genuine. He has been produced by 5ft5 lady so is an excellent ladies’ hunter. He loves hacking, fun rides, has done clinics and evented in unaffiliated competitions at 90cm with placings. He is a real family horse who is super easy to do in all ways. He lives in or out, goes in a trailer or lorry and is good to clip, shoe, catch etc. References from masters are available and a good home is sought for this much-loved horse.”
